Inspiring Adventure: Sailing across the Atlantic Ocean with 5 in a Row π π£π»ββοΈ
S2:E3 -Β - Welcome back to the My Online Schooling Podcast, the place where we talk to staff, parents and pupils to find out more about life at the online school.Β
In this episode, weβre rowing across the Atlantic, more specifically from the Canary Islands to Antigua, and weβre doing it in support of a charity called Reverse Rett. Rett Syndrome is a post-natal neurological disorder, which most often affects girls, around the age of 12-18 months. And My Online Schooling is a proud sponsor of a team of five people who, in December 2021, will be rowing across the Atlantic.Β
So we speak to Ian Baird, Duncan Hughes, Fraser Potter and Clive Rooney (there is a fifth called Ross McKinney who couldnβt join us this time), and theyβre about to explain to us just what itβs going to be like for them all to row across the Atlantic, why itβs important to have the support of organisations such as My Online Schooling, and just what this rare condition is which is the focus of the teamβs fund-raising efforts.Β
Thatβs all coming up in this episode. Letβs get to it right now with our crew.Β
